Frequently Asked Questions
How does online notarization work?
Remote Online Notarization (RON) allows you to sign and notarize documents on a secure video-call with a licensed notary. You book an appointment, upload your documents, and join a short video session where we verify your identity, witness your signature, and apply an official digital notary seal.
Is online notarization legal?
Yes, Remote Online Notarization (RON) is legally recognized in 47 states and accepted by courts, government agencies, lenders, and institutions nationwide.
What ID do I need?
You’ll need a valid, government-issued photo ID, such as a Driver’s License, state ID or passport.
How long does a session take?
Most sessions are completed in 15-20 minutes, but they vary based on document volume and complexity.
Can two people sign in the same session?
Yes, both parties can attend and sign in the same session.
How much does it cost?
Single document notarization starts at $25. For sessions with multiple documents, we charge $25 per notarized document for the first three, and a flat fee of $95 per signer for four or more documents. So no matter how many documents you have, you’ll never pay more than $95 per person. If your documents require a witness, there is an additional $20 fee per witness.
Is my information secure?
Absolutely. Every session uses end-to-end encryption and government-grade identity verification. Your documents are stored in a secure, tamper-proof system, and your personal information is never shared with third parties. The session recording is retained as required by Florida law and accessible only to authorized parties.
Can you notarize documents for people in other states?
Yes, signers can be located anywhere in the United States, and even internationally in many cases. The only thing that matters is that we, as commissioned Florida Remote Online Notaries, are present in Florida when the session takes place.
